Welcome to March!

Hey<<First Name>>, welcome to another Sapling Tarot Newsletter, I’m so grateful that you’re here.

March 20th brings us the Spring/Vernal Equinox, one of the four solar festivals of the year. Equinoxes mark when day and night are equal in length as we move from one Solstice to the next.
In my mind, this Equinox is the point where winter is firmly behind us.

This month’s Nature Notes come from copywriter and tiny garden designer Rowan Ambrose.
You can read more of their work here.

Tulip bulbs start to break the surface of the soil, shooting out luscious green foliage.

March Nature Notes

Cheerful, soft yellow primroses are a welcome sign of spring. Usually found nestled at the base of hedges or under trees, they’re an indicator of ancient woodland. Butterflies love to feast on their abundant nectar.

Forget me nots merrily self seed, so you’ll often spot them in some unlikely places. The buds are sometimes flushed rosy pink, opening to bright sky blue flowers. The botanical name myosotis comes from Greek meaning ‘mouse ears’ as that’s the shape of the foliage.

March is peak time for flowering bulbs to be developing, and even blooming, depending where you live. Buttery yellow daffodils start appearing after glistening snowdrops and silky crocuses retreat underground until next winter.

🌝🪱 Keep an eye out for the Full Worm Moon in Virgo on March 7th 🪱🌝
