Yesterday, (20th March 2022) was the vernal equinox and with it comes not only the fullness of Spring but also the promise of Summer just around the corner.

In the Celtic Wheel of the Year this equinox is celebrated by the sabbat Ostara, a festival of Spring and new life and blessings from the goddess Eostre. Not to be confused with the Christian holiday of Easter which usually falls later in the year.

The Ostara tarot spread below calls us to think about the soil we are planted in and what we are growing within our lives, what needs tending and what needs releasing, and hopefully what will bloom.
