On May 10th 2022, Mercury is going into retrograde in Gemini (then Taurus on May 22nd) until June 3rd.

Mercury is the planet that corresponds with communication, the god Mercury (Hermes) was the messenger of the gods, carrying his messages through the sky using winged sandals. While Mercury is in retrograde, pop-astrology would dictate that communication breakdown is likely, technical difficulties are rife and chaos runs rampant. However, what resonates the most for me during planetary retrogrades is less the chaos, more the understated, hidden or forgotten elements of whichever planet is in play – in the case of Mercury this means shifting the focus from outward communication to internal communication within ourselves, a time to focus on our brain-body connection.

This mercury retrograde will be an excellent time to really dedicate effort to really listening to those around us, and to our own internal voices that we so frequently try to ignore.
